Before I kick off, you need to know that 'Shinkansen' is the proper name for Japan's Bullet Train. Now that you own that fact, here's a question for you: Why are my favourite Underworld tracks about trains? You've got 'Dark & Long (Dark Train), obviously. A peerless, neverending slice of throbbing electronica which still sounds fresh thirty years after its release. But you can now add 'Techno Shinkansen' to the (admittedly very short) list. It's the best track they've released in ages. My one gripe is that it's way too short. So here's hoping we get a full version soon.
