Very few songs still have the punch that 'Hate To Say I Told You So' by The Hives has twenty years after its release. I've been known to drop it in DJ sets just to watch the carnage unfold. It's been over a decade since they released their last album, and they are back with more bite than ever. 'Rigor Mortis Radio' is a slice of grinding, stomping and supremely infectious Garage Punk, reminding me of killer bands like The Cramps and The Stooges, with the added bonus of being one of the most fun tracks I've heard this year.
