Psymon Spine - Boys (MGMT Mix) / Wizard Acid (GIFT Mix)

Arguably, the best band you aren't paying attention to right now, Psymon Spine, is back with a couple of outstanding remixes of two of their already great tracks. The opening track of their last album, 'Boys', has been given the MGMT treatment, resulting in an irresistible '80s-drenched Power Goth moment. However, the MVP for me here is GIFT's spin on 'Wizard Acid', a song I threw some words at in 2024, Built around a euphoric synth line and a bassline that's so fat you will be feeling it in your bones for weeks, this has completely blown my mind. Spectacular!
