I've been following Phoebe Green for a few years now, and she never disappoints. 2021's storming 'IDK' still gets a regular airing in my house. 'What Are You Doing?' is the first track from her upcoming EP, due at the end of March, and it's a cracker. A mixture of '90s Goth and Indie, wrapped around a big chunk of '80s synths, this is arguably her strongest single to date. Packed with swirling, emotional moments and tortured vocals, it's hypnotic in places and is the sort of tune that could have found a home on the Lost Boys soundtrack.
