A year is a long time in Pop Music because I'm pretty certain that Lizzo announced that she was quitting 'celebrity' in 2024. But times change, and a new single, 'Love In Real Life', is out now. Her message is clear. She is in control of her narrative, and no lawsuits, press or social media bullshit are going to affect that. She's always known her way around a hook, and even with a rockier twist to it, this is no exception. It feels like 'I'm Still Standing' touched by the hand of Suzi Quatro, and I am here for it.
