Lena Hessels - New Coat / Girls

You may remember me getting bowled over by Lena Hessels a couple of years ago. She released a run of great singles, but 'the car' especially blew me away. There's something polished and confident about her sound that I adore. She's back for 2025 with two new songs, and they're both great. First up, it's the stellar, bass-heavy electro-pop of 'New Coat' that comes complete with a deliciously urgent hook that'll send sparks shooting through your body. After that, head straight for the bouncy, sun-kissed cheerleader-esque Pop of 'Girls', and when you're done, spread the word because she's fucking great.
