I listen to loads of new music each week. A decent amount gets my attention, and some of it makes it onto these pages. Once in a while, I'll hear something so perfect that it gives me literal goosebumps. Such was the case when I heard 'Mui' by Jody Wisternoff (AKA Half of Way Out West) and friends. His productions are always flawless, but this one has so many neat touches that it hurts, including beautifully programmed, warm bass and percussion alongside some stunning synth breaks that remind me of early '90s Belgian and German Techno tracks. It's total perfection.
