Back in 2019, during an afterparty in Barcelona, Erykah Badu suffered a technical malfunction that left her without any music to perform to. Not one to let a little problem like that stop her, she launched into a freestyle session with the help of the crowd that blew everybody there away. Jamie xx was present that night, and he managed to record some of Badu's ad-libbed vocals. He's taken them into the studio, added a deep, pulsating acid track to them, and released it as part of a new deluxe edition of his recent album, and it's absolutely fucking immense.
