I've got a lot of time for Doves. They know their way around a beautifully crafted tune better than most and never shy away from a long song (something that I adore). They've returned after a hiatus with 'Renegade', and while they've lost none of the quality, they have taken a much darker, bleak turn. Not gonna lie, it threw me for a heartbeat. But, thankfully, the more I hear it, the more I love it. It has a cinematic feel, packed full of twists and turns, and when it soars, it will lift you clean out of your body.
