The eternally glorious and unstoppable rays of sunshine that are Confidence Man are back, this time with Eliza Rose for 'I HEART YOU'. It's everything you want from one of their tunes. It's big, bright, bouncy and full of kitsch, sci-fi-esque synths and singalong hooks. During the nineties, Jam & Spoon had a Japanese Hyper Pop side project called Tokyo Ghetto Pussy that had all of those elements, just a lot faster. They are about 25 bpm too slow at the moment, but if they do eventually cross the line into that territory, you wouldn't hear any complaints from me.
